    I would only add that this wholly reasonable "minimal standard" ITSELF does not in fact attain ANYTHING CLOSE to what has long since come to be acknowledged as a "Florida Standard". A more-than-fair "Mendoza Line", perhaps--a level of mediocrity expected as a "first step reached after 3 years"...

    Here's the constant "catch" in whatever thoughts one has of maybe Billy's team somehow doing enough to save his job, at least for one more season: We have just seen no evidence that he has the wherewithal--call it brains, balls, Coaching skills--to ever DO the things he NEEDS to do to allow them...
