A feasible solution: Perhaps we need to start using the two-QB system as we did back in '06. Chris Leak wasn't a prototypical "spread" QB, but when Tim Tebow came on board we had an added weapon. Maybe it's time to incorporate Burton into the offense a little more; sure that attempted jump...
If the spread offense was ineffective, there's no way in hell that we would have won two National Championships. I could care less about the NFL; that's a league in itself - this is college football. So many fans think this is the end of the world, but it's not - and should we get a second...
I don't exactly watch "American Idol" reruns during gametime. Of course I watched the games, but I'm looking at things objectively and not pointing fingers. We don't share the same point of view, but you can't see that.
It takes time for a young team to mature, but blaming everything that goes wrong on the coaches is foolish and is a cop-out. Maturity is something the coaches can't teach these kids; experience brings that about. The coaches have taught these kids over and over again to execute the right way...
David Pingalore is a jerk - he was shooting "Meyer to ND" crap out both sides of his trap endlessly last year only to be made to look like a fool by UF insider Alli Peak who said otherwise. I'd take what this clown says with a grain of salt.
If history repeats itself, we should be stronger and better next season. All these silly "fire the coaches" rants are just that - silly. With more experience and more maturity, this team will improve and be much tighter - there will be more of a sense of trust and a much tighter sense of unity
I am NOT listening to these announcers on TV - I am seeing things as they are! It's NOT the coaching - we are a young team for the most part - 43% of this team consists of freshman and sophomores.
Who do you think can do a better job of coaching this team than Urban Meyer?
