GAINESVILLE -- Rob Lanier, a former head coach at Siena College and most recently an assistant coach at Virginia, has joined coach Billy Donovan's staff at Florida...
Ya I really think Green is making a mistake coming out. I mean when Roberson came out, he thought he would be a first round pick and he didn't get selected at all. It's so different for guards. Big men get drafted easily.
I hope he knows what he's doing.
Now that it is announced that all 4 juniors are leaving, I think we have a good chance at signing Patterson from NJ. Billy D can convince him that coming to UF is the best choice because he will have loads of playing time to offer him.
Humphrey is the man. I think his tournament performance this year helped him land a spot on an NBA roster. A team looking for a 12th man shooter specialist will grab humphrey.
Urban seems like more of a egomaniac than Billy, so I do think he is more concerned with money. Football is still king at UF and it brings in all the money. Urban should be paid more, but not by much.
I would LOVE to see billy stay, but honestly, I see him leaving too. There's only so much you can accomplish at a school. He will probably want a new challenge and more money.
With that said. It's FINAL FOUR TIME BABY!!! Screw the Billy talk till Tuesday!!

The men's basketball coach was contacted Tuesday by Iowa athletic director Gary Barta, who got clearance the night before from Tennessee athletic director Mike Hamilton to talk to Pearl, a former Iowa assistant.
