Been on a "Cover It Live"-Game Thread Blog I've been going to while I watched the games this season (it has folks participating from all over the planet, Gators who can't follow the game any other way, so it's both great for them and interesting for me)--but I guess some of them just want to "get the good news" and aren't aware of the disappointment, frustration and controversy growing in Gator Nation. At this point I guess I seem "way too negative" for them (I got censored for relating Thompson's nickname after he let that "catch" thru' his fingers for an interception). Don't know if I'll go back to it.
Meanwhile, we're at the half of another PATHETIC display. Anyone HERE disagree? As I've tried to convey over there, we have so much more talent than the Bulldogs that even down a few more playmakers (as we ARE--isn't it strange how the bad news snowballs?) we could still pull this one out with ONE GOOD QUARTER. Of course, that may require our OC to concentrate on protecting Brantley while he THROWS THE DAMN BALL DOWNFIELD. I'm telling you, if they stay on this course we'll not only lose, we will lose John Brantley. Then THAT will be the rationalization for why we lost.
Will Foley do what he did LAST time we were in this exact same situation?
It would be the only good thing to come out of this putrid display.
("Me, negative?")
