2010 Football Preview

How will the Gators look without Tebow, Spikes, Hernandez, Cooper, and other key play-makers? Despite the great losses, Florida has ALOT to look forward to. Along with the #1 recruiting class in the country, this is what the Gators will look like in 2010.

We could have somewhat of a Fun-n-Gun, Urban Meyer style to the offense with Brantley being as strong of a passer as he is.

Offense: I'm worried about the Receivers because they weren't that great last season plus not much experience with Cooper and Hernandez gone.

Defense: Well Any starters from the D-line returning (DEs are gone)? That might be a concern and who going to be on the opposite side of Jenkins in CB.

I think 10 wins is possible maybe a BCS bowl game.

i think we're gonna be alright at WR with thompson & debose being the key guys. their both fast as hell, and a few other guys will step up. i definitely expect the pass game to be more exciting this year

and we got the most epic d-line class coming in ive ever seen :surrender:

Thats exactly what i was thinking.. but I didn't wanna say Fun 'N Gun because this is a new era.. we need a new name for it... any suggestions??

somebody called it Flash N' Dash in the 2008 season with Percy and Murphy and everybody..

As long as it's not the "Fart-n-Run" that we had under Zook, it diesn't matter to me (the Zooker called his style "smoke coming out of your tail and go man go"; that's whay I said that).

Who knows - you know, I liked the name "Banzai" that Meyer gave it this past season.

don't forget Frankie Hammond, Omarius Hines, and T.J. Lawrence. All going to be redshirt sophomores and all showed a lot of promise this past year in the spring game and scrap playing time.

and what about Carl Moore? I assume he redshirted after being hurt all of last season. He can step up as a possession receiver opposite speedy Thompson and Debose.

I thought Banzai was the name of the formation UM borrowed from Oklahoma? If not, then that would be a good name for the offense. I would prefer to avoid names that resemble Fun-n-Gun, since this offense is not like Spurrier's, and this is a new era.
