The guy definitely deserves credit. He took an undeserved "beating" in the press last year after more gains were made on his side of the ball. But what people don't factor into the matter is that quarterbacks were staying away from Joe Haden. Joe had made his name as a shutdown corner and QB's were throwing practically everything at Janoris. Obviously more yards will be gained on that side of the field when this occurs. Just another reason why you can't rely on stats for a true evaluation of a player. Everything has to be kept in context.
