Growing up in the frigid temperatures and hard-nosed atmosphere of Philadelphia, Je'Ron Stokes learned early in his high school career that he needed to toughen up in order to succeed.
The attitude and the swagger carried by individuals on and off the football playing field made it hard for Stokes to stick out.
