Football fans tend to have short memories, so there is a lot of talk that this year's MNC is the GOAT. After comparing various lists, where do you think FSU 2013 should rank amongst the all-time great teams? Eventually I would like to create some kind of ranking system that works well across eras, but that may not be possible. For now, all I have to go by is average rankings from multiple sources. Oddly enough, even though most of these rankings put Florida 2008 over Florida 1996, they assume that if the two teams played each other that Florida 1996 would come out on top. It is too early to know where FSU 2013 belongs, but for now I have to place them right above Florida 2008, since they went undefeated, had a Heisman winner, set records on offense, and have a plethora of NFL talent.
