This is tough to hear. CI was one of my favorite players on the Gators for the past few years.

Ya that's terrible news for CI. The Eagles had big plans for him to be a replacement for LJ Smith. I'm not sure if his career will be over, he just may never be that Pro-Bowl calibur TE we all knew he could be. If guys like Greg Jones and Willis McGahee and come back after completely shredding their knees to pieces, I still have hope for CI.

I thought of McGahee right away... he has had a respectable NFL career. That gives me hope for CI.

never got to play a game in the nfl yet.
