Brooks joins a Mercury squad that went 16-18 least season and features all-star guard Diana Taurasi and third-year guard Cappie Pondexter. The team used its first-round pick on a familiar foe to Brooks, Auburn center Dewanna Bonner. The team already has a Gator connection, with former UF standout Bridget Pettis serving as assistant coach.
