Brown was on ESPN2's First Take this morning, responding to the controversy that has surrounded him since he said on ESPN Radio last week that he purposely missed a block in 1994 in order to get Mitchell hurt.

(laughing) MMMmmmm, Weeelll, I think you could count on there being a little more to the general reaction to such an admission than THAT, E-, and I think you KNOW that (which is why I'm laughing)...
I wonder what prompted Lomas to SAY that, to admit this NOW...bottom line, do you get the idea maybe he has felt a certain guilt ever since? Hate to play "Arm-chair-Freud" here, but why else do you come OUT with such a thing years later? Certainly his subsequent comments reinforce that impression.
