i can see him taking them counters long distance like percy didI guess he was the logical choice. He is rather small for a WR, but not the best RB. Maybe Gillislee was so friggin' fast that he made Rainey look slow and Moody was so big, but it just did not seem that Rainey was going to hack it as a pure RB--his niche did not seem to be in speed or size and the O-line did not open holes to run through. Rainey's best runs were on the outside, so having him in the PH (Percy Harvin) position is probably best for him.
I look for him to have a role similar to that of Brandon James last season. Both are small and agile. James was actually our biggest threat using WR screens. And I think Rainey can be used in the return game.
