Tensions are growing between the city of Gainesville and Alachua County over the future location of a one-stop homeless center.
Gainesville city commissioners voted Thursday to negotiate with the owners of 36 acres on Waldo Road near NE 63rd Avenue - a property in unincorporated Alachua County.
