College Football Revolution is coming...

It was seven years ago when all heck broke loose. The Atlantic Coast Conference raided the Big East so it could expand to 12 teams and confuse everybody as to which teams were in which funky division. The Big East went after teams in Conference USA, which turned to the Western Athletic Conference, which raided the Sun Belt, which is why we have a conference with a team in Louisiana and one in Hawaii.

A mere blip, I tell you.

Because by the time we tee it up for the 2013 season, the college football landscape could be changed drastically...

It's about time. What I hope happens out of this is that the crappy schools (Cincinnati, Boise State, any school with Lane Kiffen) get the short of the deal with the conference alignments.

I think a conference needs a championship game to be taken seriously. So the pac-10 and big 10 need to expand to make it happen.

I actually like Boise State.. and I think they've handled their conference enough to join a BCS conference, the Pac10 I would think. If they go undefeated again next year, I bet they play in the NCG.(if there isn't two undefeated teams from BCS conferences)

I don't like Boise State for the same reason I don't like 1A high school football. I don't care if Lower Southside Podunk High School has the best team chemistry and a feel-good story about beating poverty if all I care about is watching a good game. Yeah, if there is nothing on TV then it may be fun to watch Boise State upset Alabama, but if I paid $100 for seats at the championship I really don't care for Boise State at this time. They would have to beat down Alabama enough to announce to the world that they are relevant, and then start snagging 5-star recruits from the big boys for me to care for them the next year. Even with league parity bringing the Boise States closer to the Alabamas in terms of talent, there is still a gap in talent that separates the two and that won't get fixed until NCAA gets a more consistent way to stratify teams, such as a playoff.
