If the media didn't have a penchant for blowing things way out of proportion, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. Franz Beard posted a great article at GC yesterday about the "fishbowl" life Coach Meyer leads right now; as I had said yesterday, the poor man can't seem to do or say anything that won't escape media scrutiny. Luckily, Meyer is smart enough to stay unfazed by all this sensationalist crap and just does his job. It's par for the course at Florida and is pretty much the "nonsense" he scoffs at, but he deserves a lot of props for staying focused and keeping his players motivated.
