Florida Gators are showing heavy interest in recruit Fabricio de Melo (7'0" 270 lbs) from Brazil. He is ranked 3rd best C in 2010 class.

What a huge (no pun intended) addition he would be to our lineup. Have the Gators ever had a 7 footer?

WOW! This would be a great addition to our front court.
The only 7 footer that comes to mind is our very own "Tennis/Basketballer" Dwayne Schintzius

The closest I can remember to 7 feet was DeClerq but he was "only" 6'10.
