Thanks for coming to watch a Miami team that won three games over the past two seasons pull within 21-12 of the No. 4 ranked team in the nation. Thanks for watching our new trick formation, the wildsnap, which resulted in a net swing of -60 yards on three plays.

I’ve covered a lot of losses and this felt like one of them. Defensive coordinator Teryl Austin and his players seemed pleased after the game, but the Meyer and the offensive players sounded like they were dissecting a defeat."

It's a little early to say we sucked. Minus the fumbles and center-QB miscues, this *might* be a smart way to ease into the new offense. The defense performed well. Let's hope we see page 2 of the playbook, and Andre Debose against South Florida.
