Meyer addressed reporters Tuesday during UF's annual preseason media day with a relaxed sense of confidence. It's a new look for Meyer -- that frozen exterior he showed up with nearly five years ago is slowly melting away. The Southern sun has thawed him. He smiles more these days. Even now, during the intensity of two-a-days, he finds time to laugh.
Has Urban Meyer gone soft? Hardly. He's still a hard-wired perfectionist. He's still an exacting general. But he is happy, or as happy as one man can be considering the pressure and expectations facing the Florida Gators this season. UF is ranked No. 1 in the nation in the preseason USA Today coaches' poll."
