I wouldn't read too far into the Gators = soviets issue. What matters is that Saban motivated his team to beat my Gators and the over-rated Horns--he did his job. Florida needs to find its own motivation next year, not necessarily being upset at being equated to Commies. These kids are too young to know what a red Commie is any way.

I sure hope so. I see a good rivalry being built up between Alabama and Florida. It would be wise to keep the rivalry as a civil one, because emotions are the one advantage Florida will have over Alabama next year. Alabama has more consistency, and is losing less veteran talent.

Let's also not forget that Saban and Meyer are similar in coaching style on some level, but that Saban is older and wiser and is able to be as intense as Meyer without killing himself. I won't say he is better, but I believe the two are 2-2 against one another with similarly loaded teams if I am not mistaken.
