Well, that headline is my whole point here:
With the injuries now revealed, seems that only reinforces my arguments over on the thread, "Gator Alum Talks..."
In fact, I commend your attention to THAT thread and its embedded link--along with my aforementioned detailed anaysis/advice-to-Coach Mac (whom I have no doubt is listening closely). Lol

LDR is out for the MusChokes so it's either Appleby or one of the freshmen.
Please be a freshman , nothing to lose Imo by playing one of them

Absolutely. And from my POV, "Plan B" should START with playing one of the freshmen qbs--and with all the injuries it makes sense to extend the same philosophy to the whole damn team we field.
Here's Mac's dilemma in a nutshell:
We are in real danger of losing the rest of our reg season games ANYWAY. He may or may NOT garner enough understanding from the fan base in light of all the injuries.
But it he announces, "We start preparing for the future NOW!", and both plays the guys and has hos staff design gameplans with that the major focus, wins and losses necome, by definition, less important rest of the season than what we're learning, who's getting experience, and how we're building towards the future.
We lose out, and instead this process begins at the start of NEXT season, and I predict that 2017 will be his last at UF.
Change the focus, Mac, and get a head start at what we can be. You gotta come up big in recruiting this time anyway--make it part of a bigger "bet on hope" and the future.
As I said near the end of my post over on "Gator Alum Talks...", Play it 'safe' and you'll be anything BUT...

Hopefully I'll get to see out future in person Saturday

Doesn't sound like it, according to Coach's latest comments (Appleby starting)--not unless Appleby gets hurt. THEN Macc says he "has no qualms about starting" one of the freshmen.
Well, in other words, it's the same old same old--which you, me, Mac and EVERYONE ELSE has already seen is pathetic all around.
Look, please understand: I am not at all pressing the case that Mac SHOULD be fired after next season, should things go the way he is more or less insuring that they will go, barring some sort of miraculous blossoming in every area and circumstance. But he DOES appear to be abdicating any moves on his own part to change the momentum towards continued decline and mediocrity that the seeming "safe", tried and true path is likely to yield.
The likeliest results of THAT will have a great part of our fan base screaming for his head by mid-season 2017. With a new AD (who no doubt comes IN with his own "short list" of "preferred hire if they're available"), all it may take then IS more bad offense, a bad loss-to-a-rival, and quiet back-channel discussions WITH one of those guys the AD covets: Mac could then well find himself Charlie Strong'ed at the end of next season.
So if for no other reason, YA GOT LITTLE TO LOSE, COACH!!!
You have every reason now to go "all in", play to WIN in every area and facet of building and running this program, instead of just "playing not to lose".
