Former Florida Gator cornerback Jarvis Williams passed away this morning at 45 years old from a heart attack. Williams was a local guy, having played high school football in Palatka and moving back there after his NFL playing days were done. He was active in the community and an all around good guy. "He was not only a personal friend but a terrific football player for both the Miami Dolphins and Florida Gators. He dedicated his life to helping young people and it is a real tragedy to pass away at a young age," said Dolphins Vice President Nat Moore in a statement.
Williams played football at the University of Florida during the mid 90s. He was a cornerback.
