Florida coach Billy Donovan divulged more information on the status of junior guard and leading scorer Michael Frazier II.
And for Gator fans, it isn’t good news.
Donovan said on his weekly radio show on Wednesday that Frazier could be out “a couple of weeks” with a high ankle sprain.
“Michael is making progress, but he won’t be in a position to play Thursday night (against Ole Miss),” Donovan said on the Gator Hotline Show with Mick Hubert. “It could be a couple of weeks.”
Donovan also said he hasn’t decided whether guard Chris Chiozza, forward Devin Robinson or forward Alex Murphy will start in Frazier’s place on Thursday night against Ole Miss (7 p.m. tip, ESPN).
