Freshman contribution

I was looking through the roster, specifically the freshman and started thinking... there really hasn't been any freshman contribute this year has there? Am I missing someone? In the past few years we've seen true freshman step up and play significant time, especially last year's class.

Do you think it's a lack of playing time available to these kids, or is the talent not there?

I think it's just the freshmen not stepping up. Urban has proven that if a freshmen steps up in practice he will see playing time on Saturday. I think it's more of a lack of effort or earning the right to play

The Defense is stacked and the offense well don't know, I'm guessing the WRs aren't better than Cooper and Thompson.

I think the best players (defesnively) out of our last recruiting class are buried in the depth chart this year (Finley, Bostic, and Jenkins).

Offensively, Debose would have played a lot, but is out for the season. Gillislee got some scrub time in the first games, but I dont expect him to play much over our 3 headed RB monster. Xavier Nelson is supposed to be a pretty good O-Lineman, but he'll have his time to play later in his career.
