"If USF doesn’t bite on defensive line coach Dan McCarney, Gators fans can put the last six weeks of coaching charade behind them.
Florida has lost four assistants since early December with the threat of losing more. But now that former Miami Dolphins linebackers coach George Edwards has been hired as defensive coordinator, things should return to normal soon — at least relatively soon.
If quarterbacks coach Scot Loeffler is taking his name out of the running for the Central Michigan’s head job — which was the rumbling over the weekend — expect him to receive an increased role in the UF offense next year, sort of an unofficial passing game coordinator. Loeffler said after the Sugar Bowl he was staying put."
