Gators start out SEC play 1-0

Wow, what a great showing by the Gators. Far from a perfect game...way too many turnovers, poor rebounding, etc.

But, this was PERFECT for this team. A very tough SEC road test and they show an enormous amount of heart and start to come together as a team. I am so proud of them.

Don't forget that they are still young and we need to be patient as fans when they have some more tough games and ugly losses. But they showed us that we have plenty to be optimistic about. The next few years with these guys is going to be fun.

I agree. Outstanding showing tonight. We were down 7 at halftime but once it was close in the second part of the second half we went on a little run and got a pretty good lead. Almost gave it away at the end but we hung on tight and got the win. I'm so proud of these guys. Those two loses in Non-Conference play will end up being a POSITIVE in the long run, not a NEGATIVE. Go Gators!:bananapartyhat:
