"The Gators have only practiced twice since training camp began, but tight ends coach Brian White already saw something great from his young players.
“What’s evident in the first two days is Jordan Reed and Gerald Christian really improved themselves this summer,” White said after Friday’s practice. “They did a great job of becoming a better football player. All the work they did with (strength coach Mickey Marotti) and his staff has paid tremendous dividends. They’re very confident. They’re much improved.”
Reed (6-3, 240, red-shirt freshman) and Christian (6-3, 240, freshman) are part of a young group vying for playing time at the position."
