How about Charlie Strong for the ND coaching job?

I admit I'm on the Charlie Strong for head coach bandwagon and wondering why can't he be consider for the head coaching job at ND if available?

i don't want strong to be a head coach... cause then our defense will suck. he needs to stay with florida, LOL. although the man does deserve a head coaching job somewhere.

A school like ND won't make the same mistake again, like we were guilty of in 2002 - hiring a head coach with no experience at that level.

You mean 2005 when Weis was hired because Willingham had head coach experience at Stanford.

Yes. At a BCS-level school, hiring a head coach with no prior experience at that level is like asking for him to fail. We were guilty of that same thing when we hired Zook to replace SOS back in 2002; as things turned out he wqas way in over his head - and clearly wasn't Florida material.
