They're both a couple of moRons, or so it seems. The boosters want Zook gone, and when the fans start staying away from Zuppke Field, they know they have a huge problem.
Florida fans warned the illini about Zook, and as things have turned out we were right. The sportswriters there have seen the same things we saw from 2002-2004 in that Zook cannot solve problems, is poor at gameday strategy and clock management, and just plain can't seem to figure it all out.
He'll be at the top of the coaches' hot seat in 2010; maybe then, if the Illini have another poor season and don't go to a bowl game they'll send Zook packing. He's not head-coaching material - and I don't know why their AD can't seem to understand that.

(Update: Based on random stuff I've read, Zook was asked to make changes in his staff, and he's let OC Mike Schultz and some others go. The problem doesn't lie with the assistants, it's with Zook himself - and it seems the Illinois AD refuses to accept that.)
