Jacksonville Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver wants Tim Tebow in teal

"Anybody who doesn't think Tim Tebow would put butts in the seats for Jacksonville Jaguars games at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium needs to have their head examined.

Jaguars owner Wayne Weaver is no loon. That's why he said this in a report filed my Mark Long of The Associated Press:

“The game is such an important part of this community, and Tebow is such an iconic figure that people would legitimately think, ’Wouldn’t it be great if he was a Jaguar,’” Weaver said. “I’d be silly to sit here and think that’s not going to be a huge thing.

“Clearly there’s going to be a groundswell for Tebow, and we’ll have to make that evaluation if we have a draft pick that’s going to be anywhere near him.”

NOOOO i hope the jags don't get tebow.. i'm so wishing they have another losing season so weaver finally decides to send the team packing. (I probably wouldn't care if they'd show the miami games along with the jaguar games, but they don't and I like miami, so i hate the jaguars for the simple fact they don't show miami games, even if it's a 4 o'clock game and the faguars play at 1...)

woah...im a homer....so i definetly like both teams....but im more of a miami fan for a simple fact i was born with a florida jersey and a dan marino jersey on my body. but the team i believe would never leave Jacksonville...ever

The jags have always been known to pick Gators....they will nab himif they can. they need a franchise QB and the leadership Tebow brings...but we will see how he progresses
