either way, the guy obviously has no control over his mouth.

I'm not sure if he was bad mouthing Tebow or if he's just saying that he loves Romo so much that Tebow (or any QB) would never make on the field with Romo there.

Note: Romo is on the list of successful QBs with awful throwing mechanics...and his team owner loves him! Tebow is going to make some owner very happy soon.

has someone actually made a list? if so please send the link.

Not that I know of. A couple threads ago I put together a list off the top of my head. Here is my list based on personal research, with some insight from ESPN Magazine.

- Tony Romo - side arm, wrist-flicks/pushes the ball when moving
- Byron Leftwich - long delivery, inconsistent footwork
- Ben Roethlisberger - rapes women, long delivery, flat-foots short throws
- Aaron Rodgers - long delivery
- Kurt Warner - side arm, bad footwork
- Bret Favre - inconsistent delivery, bad footwork, often double-pats
- Steve Young - unorthodox delivery, holds too high
- Danny Wuerffel - bad hitch, slower delivery

So, what's the point here? "Pure delivery" has been getting more attention in recent years, even though the scouts' accuracy in predicting success has remained the SAME! According to the scouts, Brady Quinn was supposed to be a superstar now, and there is no way Tom Brady should have ever beat out Drew Bledsoe, but it happened.

In five years, no one will remember that the scouts predicted Sam Bradford to be the best QB of all time, and Tim Tebow to be the worst NFL draft pick ever--and that they were wrong on both accounts.

Historically, the scouts only got a couple picks correct. Dan Marino was a round 1 pick, and was "perfect". He broke just about every QB record you can think of, but how many SuperBowl winning rings does he have? The scouts did not like Joe Montana or Tom Brady. How many SuperBowl rings do they have? How long did it take Peyton Manning to win a ring? These are all anecdotal evidence, but if you take a look, the scouts have been historically wrong, because you cannot predict the success of a QB in a team sport. Tim Tebow is a team player in a team sport. I see good things for this kid, once he gets some mentoring.

NFL owners are supposed to be ambassadors for the game. This guy is a disgrace. And they don't want Rush Limbaugh? Really Roger Goddell? I mean seriously?

I hope Toad McShay has acquired a taste for crow.

Its the beauty of sports analysts. They can be wrong all the time and still keep their jobs. Its a much different matter with people who handicap politics.

Notice how they haven't been shooting off that much about Tim Tebow now that they've been proven wrong, as he was taken in the first round.

The last time Florida had a QB go in the first round, it was Rex Grossman back in 2003. His NFL career has been one of peaks-and-valleys, and now he's been more or less relegated to being a journeyman back-up since his contract with Chicago expired.

Based on the determination and work ethic Tebow has, I don't see the same thing happening to him.

Unfortunately, Grossman did not have a great passing coach or QB mentor. Neither will Tebow. Tebow's only role model will be a game manager (Orton), and whatever Quinn is. I don't know much about Denver's QB coaches.

What about McDaniel? He taught Brady and Cassel.

Until draft day I knew nothing of McDaniel. So far I am very happy with what I am learning--there could be a chance for Timmy yet!

Wouldn't you know that erstwhile Gator-hater at CBSSports (Mike Freeman) and some of those bozos at Bleacher Report are already setting Timmy up to fail. Idiots, all.

It would be foolish of us to think the Gator-bashing and Tebow-bashing would have ended on draft day. Every mis-step is going to get blown out of proportion. Every screw up is going to get highlighted by rival fans. What else is new, other than a new set of pundits, NFL vs NCAA?
