Jawaan Taylor is a member of the recruiting class of 2016. He is considered to be a 1st round draft pick.
The 6-foot-5, 330-pound junior announced his decision via social media Saturday night after the Gators beat Michigan 41-15 in the Peach Bowl. Taylor also signed with agent Drew Rosenhaus. Rosenhaus clients include Antonio Brown, Chad Johnson, Frank Gore, Rex Grossman, Rob Gronkowski, LeSean McCoy, Jimmy Smith, Plaxico Burress, Terrell Owens, Tyreek Hill, and Warren Sapp.
Taylor has played in all 32 games of his Florida Gators career with 30 starts. The Cocoa, Florida, native has primarily played right tackle for UF, but could move to guard in the NFL.
