Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin joined the show to discuss last week's loss to Florida and more.
-- Dan asked Kiffin what he wanted to achieve.
"I wanted to send a message in the matchup that Tennessee wasn't going to roll over," Kififn said. "I wanted that message to go out and I think it did."
Kiffin is talking like the Vols can beat the Gators in the future.
"I was excited about a number of our young guys," Kiffin said. "
Next year we get to play them and Superman won't be there any more."
Kiffin was especially impressed with the defensive scheme his father Monte Kiffin put together.
"I think we put the blueprint out there of how to beat them.
-- Kiffin doesn't buy into Urban Meyer's criticism that the Vols were conservative to keep the game close at the end. He said they scored a touchdown on the series in question, so what else can you ask for. Kiffin thought that if they picked up the tempo, they would have made a mistake -- like they did with a couple minutes left when they threw a pick.
-- Kiffin is very impressed with Tim Tebow. He thinks that as good a job of game-planning they did, they just couldn't tackle him. "I don't think you could ever find someone that wills himself to win as much as him," Kiffin said.
-- Kiffin said he was happy that a lot of the negative focus was on him and not the players in Florida. Here's what he said to his players: "There's no pressure on you. I'm the one who put things out there. You guys just go out there and play."
