SANDESTIN, FLA.—"Urban Meyer opened the door to his room at the Hilton resort Tuesday morning and noticed two empty bunk beds.
When he arrived at Florida in 2005, he brought his two daughters to the SEC spring meetings and they slept in those bunk beds. Now they're both in college.
Moments before he walked into a press area to define his return to the college game, he sat at a table outside the room and held up six fingers. That's six years as coach of the Gators.
Urban Meyer is taking a calmer approach to the upcoming football season. And yes, that sixth year is this coming fall.
Ever think you'd make it to six, he was asked?
"Never," Meyer said.
Here, everyone, is a man finally at peace. And it has nothing to do with football."
