Before he slips off into his indefinite leave of absence, Florida coach Urban Meyer will be meeting with his staff and UF officials to determine what role he will play in recruiting and filling out his coaching staff while he?s gone.

Now if all the media hacks like Tim Brando and Slimebaum would muzzle their pie-holes and stop trying to stir the pot.........

IMHO Coach Meyer will be back. This is a time for him to get well, embark on some self-improvement and come back with a better approach on how to handle different situations involving Florida football.

I can't believe some of the nonsense I've been reading from fellow Gator fans about this, let alone all the trolls. As I had said in a previous post, there's nothing wrong with and certainly no shame in somebody asking for help when faced with a situation that goes beyond their own realm of being able to deal with it on their own. God helps those who help themselves, and that's exactly how Coach Meyer's dealing with everything right now. After all the player incidents, constant scrutiny from the media, the unrelenting rumor mills and some of the overdemanding fans in our base who refuse to change their attitudes, no wonder why Urban's exhausted. I'n not an insider, so I don't know how ambivalent or impervious he's been to all the media punditry and other negative backlash - but that being said, they too need to give the poor man a break.

For those trolls and others calling him "weak" and other things, they need to look at themselves in the mirror and ask whether or not they're so flawless as to pass judgment on him or anybody else in his situation. He'll get well and come back to the Gators; he has so much time and effort invested in this team and a true dedication to them that to do otherwise would be unthinkable and even more detrimental to his psyche.

Keep the faith, Gator fans - Coach Meyer isn't going anywhere but back to Florida footbal lonce he's well enough to do so.
