This is very positive. Coach Meyer said that how well mat drills and spring practice go can be an indication of how well we perform in the regular season; if that still holds true we look very promising.
I like the changes Meyer has made in the off-season as far as replacing some of his assistants go; so far they seem to be working well with the Gator program. The addition of Terry Jackson can work very well; if he can act as a positive role model for our guys and help keep them out of trouble it only stands to help us in the long run. Also, there have been more opportunities for the kids to serve in the community and their school; I just read that some of our guys will be "coaching" some of the sororities in a Panhellenic powder-puff football tourney to raise money for a charity Tim Tebow works with.
After tomorrow's game I only hope our guys will stay headed in the right direction, stay out of trouble, do what they're expected to do and come together as a team - if we want to get back to where were were in 2006 this is crucial.
