Update: Keith Marshall committed to Georgia on Tuesday.

Running back Mike Davis, the Gators prized skill-position recruit of the 2012 class, has de-commited from Florida. He was recently ranked as a Rivals Top 100 recruit for the 2012 class.

Davis made the announcement on Twitter Sunday where he wrote, "No longer committed to florida"

Davis previous indicated that there was a communication breakdown between himself and the Gators coaching staff. He tweeted, "Its funny when you look a coach in the eye in see right through the B.S. dey be feedin you".

Allegedly some of his concern, believe it or not, had to do with the fact that four Gator coaches, including Will Muschamp and Charlie Weis, went to see uncommitted recruit Keith Marshall (a highly prized RB recruit out of Raleigh, NC who the Gators have offered) when just two coaches have been to see Davis recently. Marshall is expected to give his verbal commitment on Tuesday, Georgia and Clemson are among the front runners.

Davis told the Atlanta Journal Constitution this "Things happened; there was a misunderstanding with the Florida coaches. I can’t comment on what went wrong. It just wasn’t meant to be. Some things happened, and I don’t want to comment on what happened.

Davis was at Tennessee on an official visit with the Vols this past weekend.

Davis is eyeing the Vols, Florida State, South Carolina, Alabama and Miami according to Rivals.

With Davis de-commiting that leaves Matt Jones a 6-foot-2 back out of Armwood High School in Seffner, Fla. as the only running back in next year's class.

-Kicker Caleb Sturgis was named to the All-SEC first team by the Associated Press it was announced Monday. Defensive tackle Jaye Howard gained an honorable mention on the All-SEC team. The complete first and second team with honorable mentions can be seen here.
