Mike Dyer could be available

Mike Dyer is trouble. He was in Gene Chizik's dog house at the end of the season, and had to sit out of the bowl game. Dyer is going to follow Gus Malzahn to Arkansas State. Bank on it. Whatever he did to piss off Chizik, only Malzahn will have the compunction to forgive Dyer after a year of waiting out NCAA eligibility. More than likely, that year off will help Dyer grow up. More than likely, Malzahn will use Dyer in practice to help coach up the other RBs, which will help him mature as a player. In another year, Dyer may compete for a starting role.

Yeah--last thing we need is to start IMPORTING troubled head-cases, just as we're finally shedding the last of the ones Urban gathered handfuls of and left us with from those so-called "top recruiting classes" of '09 and '10.
Chizic's a Meyer-trained coach, and given the situation there at Auburn, this kid must be a royal PAIN, like REALLY bad news, for the Head Coach to give up on their first-string RB.
I mean, they took in Cam, after all the sh*t he pulled at UF--but THEN only after he showed some maturity, AND exceled out in Siberia (Blinn College, TX)...at which point, they even paid his dad at least $180,000 to attain his services; in other words, ya gotta figure they don't shed a proven on-field performer that they already have IN-HAND unless he's a COMPLETE loser in other ways, team poison.
