More talk about Tim Tebow's injury

Neurosurgeon Dr. Robert Cantu discusses the circumstances and implications of Tebow's concussion: http://miamiherald.typepad.com/gator_clause/2009/09/dr-robert-cantu-renowned-neurosurgeon-sheds-light-on-concussions.html

Naturally there are so many different spins on the story, but that's to be expected: http://miamiherald.typepad.com/gator_clause/2009/09/how-severe-is-florida-gators-quarterback-tim-tebows-concussion.html

Shane Matthews' take on Tebow's injury: http://blogs.orlandosentinel.com/sports_college_uf/2009/09/former-gators-qb-understands-tebows-painful-week.html

CBS Sports' Gary Danielson also feels that there was no reason for Tebow to be taken out of the game, as opposed to a lot of these media pundits castigating Meyer over his decision:http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/gatorbytes/2009/09/28/danielson-%E2%80%9Cthere-was-no-need-for-tim-to-be-out-of-the-game%E2%80%9D/

If anything, this unfortunate incident should serve to motivate our guys to kick their on-field performance up a few notches: http://www.miamiherald.com/sports/colleges/uf/story/1255351.html

This is seriously a scary thing. Luckily it wasn't as worse as it could have been. Hopefully things will go well and he will heal. I would like to see him play in 2weeks at LSU - but if he doesn't - that's fine too. His health is more important.

That is exactly how I feel. I don't want him playing in LSU if he's not ready. I love watching him, but I don't want him to become a tragic story of what could have been. Let him heal and get back to tearing up the football field when he is ready.
