"Friday night, Urban Meyer made a simple request of true freshman defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd. He didn't care when or how it came, but Meyer wanted a Gator chomp.
Floyd smiled and simply told his coach he already had one coming.
On the first play of the final South Florida drive in the third quarter, Floyd crashed through the Bulls' line to stuff running back Demetris Murray for a 1-yard loss. He then got up nearly chomping his way to Meyer on UF's sideline until the referee blew his whistle.
"It felt great doing it at the time, but when I heard the whistle I threw my hands up and said 'I'm done,' " Floyd said."
