Chandler Parsons slid out of the first-round and into the hands of the Houston Rockets at pick No. 38.
While second-round players do not receive guaranteed contracts, and there is really no gaurantee he has a roster spot, Parsons could make this team which is in a current state of flux, rebuilding from the Yao Ming-non-dynasty.
The Rockets actually purchased the pick from the T-Wolves so that alone shows there is an interest to make Parsons a part of the team in Houston next season under new head coach Kevin McHale.
Vernon Macklin was drafted 52nd overall by the Detroit Pistons, a team like Houston which is rebuilding from the Chauncey Billups led playoffs teams.
Judging from Twitter reactions alone, Macklin seems to be more excited about going to Detroit, than Parsons is about Houston. Billy Donovan actually seemed to be more excited than Parsons.

Muschamp is hitting the Peach State hard, four of the 13 commitments thus far for his first class are from his other home state.
