I like this quote from Coach Meyer (so much for all that "he'll go to the NFL" crap):
"It's a decision that puts Lindley in a class of other rah-rah guys who can't get enough of the college game-day experience. And considering that group is currently led by Florida quarterback Tim Tebow, it's not a bad class to be in.
Tebow, who already has a Heisman Trophy and two national championship rings, will be chasing more honors in Gainesville next fall. And for that, Florida coach Urban Meyer is extremely grateful. And hardly surprised.
As Meyer noted, "Professional football is a job. College football is a great experience."
It just takes some players longer than others to get that message and allow their supersized egos to deflate enough to fit into a team concept.
"The NFL approach to football has seeped its way into college and high school," said Meyer. "I don't want to say it's anti-team, but the individualism is something I don't believe in, and our program doesn't believe in. But you do see it and it takes us a while to get that out of (some players)."
