Poll: FSU and the Gator Bowl

JMO, but I don't think Booby Bowden deserves special treatment just because of who he is and the fact that he was asked to retire by the FSU administration in begging for that berth in the Gator Bowl when more deserving teams like Clemson and Boston College deserve to go.

What say the rest of you?

No, he probably doesn't.

However, you can't blame the Gator Bowl for doing what they did. From what I've heard, they've already sold out the stadium. The bowls are all about money, so I certainly would have done the same thing if I were on a bowl committee.

Don't really care he's gone after the game. I rather cheer for them than Bama plus my sister goes to FSU.

yea its all about money thats why miami got screwed with the champs bowl vs. wisconsin cuz they know their fans dont travel at all

Heck yea a lot of the selections have to do with money & who will travel well.

Looks like the Gtor Bowl was 100% right in their selection to, since the 77.5K seat stadium was sold out in <2 hrs
