"As a fifth year senior playing on the offensive line, this is Marcus Gilbert’s time to shine. Linemen, as we have learned, are like wildflowers in that we aren’t really sure when or where they are going to bloom, only we know they look really good once they’ve matured. Gilbert has started 16 consecutive games for the Florida Gators, 14 last season at right tackle when he was a fourth-year junior and both games this season at left tackle, so he has developed at a pace that isn’t unusual for the big guys who do the grunt work.
