Q: If you could take one thing from your hometown in St. Louis and bring it to Gainesville, what would it be?
A: Probably the clubs, the nightlife. I think it’s better up there than here, but it’s not bad here.
Q: What’s something you listen to before games that might surprise some people?
A: Probably all the rap music, because I don’t cuss a lot.
Q: Who’s your craziest teammate?
A: Vernon Macklin. He always makes me laugh. It seems sometimes like he has jokes made up and ready in his head. He’s just ready for the right time to say them. He’s a funny guy.
Q: What’s the last dream that you had that you can remember?
A: It’s the weirdest thing, but I never remember my dreams. I don’t remember any at all.
Q: If basketball was made illegal, what would you do?
A: Football, definitely football.
Q: What position?
A: I played quarterback when I played football. But I think if it was today, I’d put on some muscle on me and become a tight end. I wasn’t a bad quarterback, though. I was a dual threat. I could throw and run a little bit. I can get the ball down there.
Q: How far could you throw?
A: I could get it 65 (yards). I had a pretty good arm.
