-Chris Rainey has been named to the first-team All-SEC along with kicker Caleb Sturgis.
Sturgis was named to the Associated Press's All-SEC team earlier in the week, but Rainey was not. The official All-SEC, which includes both Rainey and Sturgis, unlike the AP poll, is voted on by the conference coaches.
Rainey was not selected for RB or Special Teams though by the coaches, he was selected at the All-Purpose position along with Joe Adams of Arkansas.

-A Florida Gator fan now is considering changing her son's name after Urban Meyer accepted the job at Ohio State.
Bay News 9 reports, that Jen Wiley and her husband named their four-year old Spurrier Urban Wiley-who now goes by just Spur...But after Urb's departure for the Midwest she wants to change his legal middle name.
-With national signing day rapidly approaching the period between now and Christmas should be quite busy with at least a few new additions to the 2012 class. The official signing day will be Feb. 1 2012.
Will Muschamp told the media he feels good about the Gators recruiting class 2012.
“Recruiting has been outstanding,’’ Muschamp said via the school's official website. “First of all, you are recruiting to the University of Florida. It’s a great school, it’s a great campus. It’s great tradition with the football program. And [you have] a great staff and hard-working staff in recruiting, so players can very easily see where we’re headed with this.’’
But with the departure of Top 100 recruit RB Mike Davis on the commitment list, there is some worries.
ESPN ranks the Gators as the No. 4 class in all of college football.
Of the 16 commitments, seven are ranked in the ESPNU 150. One player, offensive tackle D.J. Humphries is rated as a five-star recruit, 11 are rated as four-star, and the remaining four are three-star recruits, according to ESPN.
Rivals puts the Gators at No. 8 in the nation for next year's class, rating the Gators with Humphries as a five-star, 10-recruits as a four-star and four as three-star recruits.
One recruit which commited in August that has gone a little under the radar is LB Antonio Morrison out of Bolingbrook, IL, Illinois. Morrison will be on campus this weekend for an official visit.
-Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland DE Leonard Williams will be on campus this weekend for an official visit, he is uncommited. Williams has offers from Florida State, USC, Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee among other powerhouses.
-The Gators have also offered five-star defensive end Jonathan Bullard out of Shelby, North Carolina Crest High school. Another guy the Gators are after is a defensive tackle by the name of Damien Jacobs a JUCO standout out of Mississippi Community College, he actually committed to Tennessee but is still looking.
-Sports Center will dedicate the entire 2:00 p.m. ET hour of Sports Center to Tim Tebow on Wednesday, dubbed "Tebow Center".
-The Gators are No. 3 among NCAA schools in revenue earned from merchandise sales, according to the Collegiate Licensing Company . Only Texas and Alabama bring in more revenue from merchandise than the Gators. For the last fiscal year the total revenue for licensed collegiate merchandise was 4.3 billion.
