WAS just gonna call it, "Vent Here"-- but turns out I posted another thread in 2014, just about the same point in the season, entitled "Your One-Line Vent Here". If I recall correctly, we were in the middle of (what turned out to be) Muschamp's last end-of-season collapse. And the offense we all found so frustratingly unimproved and unproductive was the reason--and doesn't appear to have progressed much since.
Well, I do think there is inherent POTENTIAL in this team's future that I didn't see then. But there are still too many holes, and too LITTLE actual progress, discipline, and flexibility to be anything like "confident" regarding that future. That must change.
But what do Y'ALL think? Agree? If so, what do you think could, should be done--and should we, could we start NOW?
And so on. Obviously, inherent here is the opportunity to voice frustration and unhappiness with what we've seen, the product on the field, on the way to your suggestions as to what oughtta be done.
Or are you among those who found support from that fool host on the post-game Gator Radio show--the ones who kept echoing HIS attitude, along lines of, "I don't GET it! Didn't we just WIN??? Where's the problem? We're 7-and-2, still in the hunt for the SEC-East title!"...and from there on to all the reasons everything is fine and being handled correctly in every way, all weaknesses either result of injuries or not practically improveable in any way at the moment without screwing up everything ELSE, making it all unacceptable and so much worse.
I have my own thoughts on all that (for example, "Do we have to lose out to make such concerns valid?", and "How bad does it have to get before it's 'OK' for us ignorant fans to dare question what's been and being done, according to the various 'experts' in, around and close to the program?")--but I have said plenty already...
That probably won't change (sorry!), but this is YOUR forum: Short term, long term, where are we headed? What's likely coming, and what're we gonna do about it? Are we on the right path? What are our options? What are our realistic expectations, in what kinda time frame from here? How do we judge "success"?And so on.
I'm asking for your opinion on anything and everything concerning the state of our season and beyond, what you really think and feel--so LEMME HAVE IT!
