Errors in Florida's defensive secondary led to two easy scores for the Tennessee Volunteers. Quarterback John Brantley missed several wide-open receivers. At times, the offense had trouble breaking the huddle in its first road game of the season.
The Gators' 31-17 victory was not a picture of excellence.
``I think you saw two young football teams trying to figure it out out there,'' Florida coach Urban Meyer said."
