"Three times last week, including while accepting the Sugar Bowl trophy after UF's 51-24 victory over Cincinnati on Friday, Meyer said he believes he'll be back on the sideline in 2010. But he first needs a break because he said doctors told him he risks damaging his body if he continues without one.
Meyer's wife Shelley seemed to indicate that she believes her husband will be coaching the Gators in 2010, too.
"I know that he's a coach," she said. "That's all we know so far and we love these kids and I know he's given every inch of himself and that's why he needs this break right now."
