And now my two cents:
- I think Fayson was a little too antsy in deciding to transfer from Florida to go play for Zook. Had he been a little more patient, Coach Meyer would have found a slot for him in the offense, and eventaully he would have been a starter. As things have turned out so far this year, that could have very well been the case. As the saying goes, hindsight is 20-20.......
- I was not impressed at all with South Carolina's play last night in their managing to get a 7-3 win over NC State in Raleigh. Had there not been that push on the defender the Cocks could have had the score set at 14-3. Their defense left a lot to be desired, and unless they can clean up their act, they can likely expect another massacre when Florida calls on them in Columbia on 11/14.
- It's put-up-or-shut-up for Bozo up there in Knoxville. I'm not expecting anything special from the Rocky Toppers this season, but if their final win-loss record mirrors the one they finished with last season, it'll be apparent that Kiffykins wrote a lot of checks his big mouth couldn't cash. Even so, our Gators will be ready and waiting for them two weeks from this coming Saturday - we can count on that.
- On a side note, Oregon running back LeGarrette Blount punched a Boise State player after the Ducks lost their game last night on the smurf-turf. I don't like seeing football players acting like goons as they do in pro hockey, but it takes two to tango and I'm sure that Boise player was talking trash to egg Blount on. As much as I can't stand Boise State (IMHO they're the biggest whiners in college football), Blount should have kept his temper under control.
