Should Weis go after this QB?

He was the number one QB two years ago. Though he will have to sit out a year. Plus he would be a Junior like Brissett and Driskell if both stays.

Have we had any contact with him? Is there enough promise there, enough of the proverbial "upside" to warrant going after him? Sure, we NEED another QB in the mix NOW, if possible, going into 2012--but Heaps won't be available to play until '13; is it worth the spot AND the mess-with-our-young-ones head hassles for HIM (from what I gather, it won't take much to convince Driskel to bolt--and personally I suspect HE might be the better of the two we've got).
I'm not outright saying "No!"...in fact I am FOR getting at LEAST one more QB ASAP, somehow, somewhere--and an experienced one who is transferring for "a new start" is something I actually proposed we keep an eye out for some time back (as we began to see the current deficiencies in BOTH of our freshmen QBs). I'm just pointing out some of the questions that have to be considered in this particular case.

No. We already have enough QBs for 2013. We need some for 2012 to back up Brissett and Driskel in addition to Tyler Murphy.
